I kind of feel like I jinxed myself on my last post. I was so happy to be back in training and excited for our first class of the year only to get sick and be out of training for 2 weeks. Ugh.
I am going to post once again a few videos, as I was able to get a couple of tracks in today and one Saturday. Our teams goals this week are to do open turns successfully and improved our article indication on the track. My personal goals are to pay closer attention to how I am laying the track by mapping my visual line ups.
For the Saturday track I was able to find someone to video but unfortunately my camera person forgot to turn the video on so I only have footage as we hit our open turn.
The other two videos were taken today. The one things I've noticed recently is that Tilly tends to try and pull us off the track and I have to brace until she finds the correct direction. During our track I feel that her head is up way too much. But when I go back and watch the videos I can see that it's not happening as often as I think it is.
For the 3rd track I decided to double lay it to see if I could get her to stay truer to the track and not veering off as much.
Our article training this week consisted of trying out the article track that Mary-Ann suggested (no food except from my pocket). To my surprise it went really well and I can already see a difference in Tilly's interaction to her articles on regular tracks.

I think she looked pretty good. She’d like a bit more line (what you are doing is exactly what we want), and we can address that next class. She might also want a bit more forward motion from you—again, you are doing exactly what we’ve taught, she’s ready for the next step. By the third video it looks like she has a bit more line and is happier!
